Inventory Team Leader - Warehouses

We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our team at our site in East Montreal (Quebec), Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Under the supervision of the inventory supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, receipt and shipment of materials. You will actively participate in tasks with the inventory team members while ensuring that the tasks performed by your team are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with procedures.

You will be responsible for:

• Coordinating daily tasks of inventory team members while ensuring integration of new employees, their training, coaching
• Communicating organizational objectives and performance indicators to your team
• Participating in performance evaluation and disciplinary management processes
• Conducting SST follow-ups on application of rules and evaluating employee needs for personal protective equipment
• Sure that receipt, storage, and distribution of products and spare parts are done in accordance with procedures
• Be the resource person for urgent requests;
• Participate with the team in cyclic inventory counting;
• Maintain order and cleanliness of warehouses and workspaces
• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects related to warehouses and inventories
• Perform replacement of team members as needed
