The ILF Solar Photovoltaic & Hybrid Systems team works on a wide range of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects and programs, grid-connected or off-grid, for public and private clients worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the management of strategic international projects in the fields of photovoltaics and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Clients include international financial institutions (AFD, KfW, World Bank, EBRD, EIB, etc.), national electricity companies, as well as major private clients (industrial companies, project developers, etc.).

• Lead feasibility studies for complex energy generation systems: system sizing and optimization, CAPEX and OPEX estimation, preliminary and detailed design, medium/high voltage grid connection studies, stability studies (PSS®E, PowerFactory), energy master plans (PLEXOS, PyPSA), etc. Also take responsibility for Technical Due Diligence (TDD), Lender’s Technical Advisor (LTA) missions, Technical Advisor in transactions.

• Manage project execution phases: preparation of tender documents, evaluation of EPC/IPP offers, validation of pre-construction execution studies and supervision of construction, commissioning and operation & maintenance phases.

• Ensure interface with suppliers, EPC/IPP contractors and clients, while monitoring technological developments, market trends, new products, standards and simulation models.

• Contribute to the standardization of work processes to improve operational efficiency and the quality of services.

• Participate in the development of international activities through the preparation of technical and commercial proposals and support business development initiatives.

Profile Sought

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in energy, electrical engineering or a similar field, with a specialization in renewable energies, photovoltaics, or energy storage systems (BESS).

• Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale photovoltaic and storage systems projects, combined with strong project management and engineering skills. Experience in wind and green hydrogen is an asset.

• Proficiency in energy sector software such as PVSyst, HOMER PRO and/or power grid simulation software (PowerFactory, PSS®E).

• Good understanding of the technical aspects of PPA and EPC contracts, particularly regarding performance, contractual penalties and contractual risks.

• Excellent writing skills.

• Very good command of French and English, both written and spoken.
