Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant in Wollongong is seeking a talented and motivated full time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. With a focus on fresh, local seafood and high-quality seasonal produce, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences in a stunning coastal setting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently to restaurant standards
• Manage and organise your assigned section during service
• Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and to required quality
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Assist with menu development and seasonal menu updates
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
• Minimise waste and follow cost-control guidelines
• Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff as needed
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
• Ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Contribute to a positive, professional kitchen environment

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant commercial cookery
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Passion for seafood and modern Australian cuisine
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Commitment to maintaining high kitchen standards
• Team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
