With an expertly crafted Italian menu and wine list, Bar Monte offers true Italian Hospitality.The business is now seeking a Chef de Partie to join the team.

The restaurant caters for all group sizes whether in our indoor dining areas, private, discreet dining or the gorgeous outdoor garden area. The venue is also a popular choice for functions and events and offers live music.

The Role

We are now seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. Working in a well-established kitchen, planning, preparing and serving quality Italian cuisine with a modern coastal twist, your responsibilities will include:

Menu development and specials

Preparing and cooking high quality Italian food

Portion control and wastage

Organising, stocktaking and ordering for the section

Communicating with restaurant management and front of house staff

Working as part of a team in a busy, commercial kitchen

Ensuring staff compliance with HACCAP regulations and safety standards

The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant qualifications no less than a Diploma level, plus 1-year, full time relevant employment experience.

Knowledge and passion for contemporary and traditional Italian cuisine

Ability and experience to work autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen with a talented kitchen staff

Flexibility with work split shift, including evenings and weekends

Demonstrated strong customer focus
