This position is responsible for culinary operations including food quality and team development at The Hershey Lodge. The Chef de Cuisine - Banquets will be responsible for managing the culinary team, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with the resort's brand standards. • Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure efficient operations. • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences. • Providing training and guidance to culinary team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. • Ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, sales, and labor costs. • Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial goals are met. • Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability. • Building strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and vendors to drive business results. • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
