Site Manager – Industrial Piping / Buried Networks Location: Liège Region Start Date: As soon as possible Medium / Senior As part of an industrial project located in the Liège region, we are looking for a Site Manager specialized in industrial piping, with good experience in buried networks. The mission consists of supervising the installation of an industrial piping network, a large part of which will be buried in the ground. The project also involves a strong civil engineering component: earthworks, trench excavation, shoring, pipe laying, backfilling, concrete foundations, and connection to an existing installation. Your responsibilities: Organize and coordinate daily site operations. Manage internal teams and subcontractors. Supervise earthworks, trench excavation, shoring, piping installation, and backfilling. Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to the schedule. Guarantee compliance with safety, quality, and deadline requirements. Ensure quality control of works, particularly inspections related to piping and welding. Act as the liaison between the site, the Project Manager, and the various stakeholders. Manage client constraints and ensure compliance with the specifications. Be able to enforce decisions made on site, even under operational pressure. Profile sought: Confirmed experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Site Manager. Experience in industrial piping. Good command of buried networks: earthworks, trenching, shoring, installation, backfilling, as-built surveys, etc. Good knowledge of welding, quality control, weldsheets, or welding procedures. Ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors. Autonomous, organized, solid on-site, and solutions-oriented profile. Experience in an industrial environment: energy, chemical, infrastructure, or similar sector. What we are looking for most: A hands-on person, capable of being the eyes and ears of the Project Manager on site, managing teams, anticipating problems, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
