OPERATING BLOCK MANAGER (M/F)

Under the responsibility of General Management and as a full member of the Management Committee (CODIR), you will lead a heavy, high-performance technical platform, which operates at a sustained pace of approximately 120 interventions per day. Your responsibilities encompass the strategic, human, and operational management of 16 operating rooms, an SSPI (Surgical Site Infection surveillance) with 24 posts, as well as the supervision of transverse services: sterilization, patient transport, and block logistics. Beyond managing your field teams, one of your major challenges lies in the art of coordinating, federating, and regulating the activity of 60 freelance surgeons, ensuring organizational efficiency, patient safety, and optimization of shifts. Given the scale of the technical platform and the relational challenges with practitioners, my client is looking for a very experienced manager: a nurse by training (with or without IBODE/IADE specialization), you must have successful experience as a block manager or principal deputy within a very large structure (ideally with more than 20 rooms). An assertive leader, with excellent political acumen and great diplomacy, you excel in priority management and change leadership. Your macro vision, your management rigor, and your ability to dialogue with high-level stakeholders (Management, practitioners, managers) will be your best assets to sustain this strategic hub.
