We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Chef for Grill , pass and larder sections to work closely with the Head Chef and step up to supervise when needed. If you're confident and ready for leadership responsibilities, this is your opportunity.

Known across Melbourne and Victoria, we’re now expanding to Cairns at the iconic Cairns Aquarium. Imagine working in a kitchen that overlooks one of the most stunning aquarium tanks in the world while you grill up premium cuts of meat for guests in one of the most beautiful venues around.

MUST BE RELIABLE.

Run and Assist in different sections during busy lunch, dinner, and functions
Maintain quality, consistency, and food safety standards
Assist with prep, stock management, and smooth daily operations
Train and support junior staff in a collaborative environment

About the Role:

Take charge of the grill, Pass and Cold larder during busy lunch, dinner, and function services

Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety

Support with prep, stock control, and smooth daily operations

Train and guide junior staff in a supportive, team-focused environment

Be ready to step up as supervisor when required

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years' experience as a griller or section leader in a busy kitchen

Strong leadership skills and the confidence to take charge

Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

Reliable, motivated, and calm under pressure

Great communication and teamwork abilities

Availability for lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends
