Chef

As a busy cafe operating in Scarborough QLD 4020, we are seeking an experienced chef possessing a sound knowledge of overall commercial kitchen operations with the ability to lead and supervise juniors in command. This will be a full-time role requiring you to work 38 hours per week with additional hours occasionally, if needed. You will be directly reporting to the head chef and restaurant manager. We want to see you lead by example and be hands on with your team in all aspects at the back of house. Key responsibilities include: managing kitchen operations; supervising and training junior chefs; maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation; ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations; and contributing to menu development and planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cooking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
