Anatoli Pizza & Pasta is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. We pride ourselves on authentic Italian cuisine and are looking for a professional who can contribute expertise, creativity, and leadership to our culinary operations.

Plans, organizes, prepares, and cooks meals in a dining or catering establishment. Oversees kitchen operations and ensures quality, safety, and efficiency in food production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning menus in collaboration with management
• Estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food and kitchen supplies accordingly
• Monitoring the quality and presentation of dishes at every stage of preparation
• Discussing food preparation procedures with Managers, Dietitians, and front-of-house staff
• Demonstrating culinary techniques and advising team members on cooking procedures
• Preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes
• Enforcing hygiene and food safety regulations in line with Australian standards
• May be responsible for selecting and training kitchen staff
• May also freeze and preserve foods to maintain freshness and reduce waste

• Minimum qualification: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Commercial Cookery or a related field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• Proven experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen (preferably 2+ years)
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management
• Ability to manage time and resources efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Team leadership, training, and supervisory skills
• Passion for high-quality, consistent food and customer satisfaction
