Casual Chef – Aged Care Facility (Christchurch)
We are seeking an experienced Casual Chef to join our team at an aged care facility in Christchurch. This role includes weekend work and offers flexible casual hours.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals for residents
Working with dietary requirements and allergens, including special diets
Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards
Working collaboratively with kitchen and care staff

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef
Aged care facility experience preferred
Strong understanding of dietary needs and allergen management
Ability to work weekends
Must have legal working rights in New Zealand
Applicants must disclose any criminal convictions
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Pay Rate:

Dependent on experience
