Chauffeur Healthcare Transport - Zaandam

As a healthcare transport driver at Transdev/Connexxion in Zaandam and its surroundings, you are much more than just a driver. You are the trusted face that greets your passengers friendly every day. To them, you are not just a driver, but someone who ensures a safe and pleasant journey. With a smile, a chat, and your patient attitude, you make their journey just a little bit more enjoyable.

What will you do?

Your passengers are adults with a disability who cannot travel independently. You are their driver and companion, ensuring they reach their destination without worries. You assist your passengers with boarding and alighting if necessary. In the morning, you pick them up between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM and take them to their day care or healthcare institution. In the afternoon, between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you safely bring them back home. In between, you enjoy free time. With your caring and understanding approach, you create a relaxed and trusting atmosphere on the bus.

As a driver at Transdev/Connexxion, you bear a lot of responsibility. Passengers rely on you for a safe journey to their destination. Additionally, we offer:

• Prospect of a permanent employment contract with good performance
• A gross hourly wage between €15.52 and €17.81
• You work 15 to 20 hours per week, only on weekdays

What do you bring?

You have a great sense of responsibility and know how to interact with this group of passengers. Patience, friendliness, and caring are self-evident to you. You enjoy working with people and contribute to their mobility and independence. You live in the vicinity of Zaandam and have a B driver's license with at least 1.5 years of driving experience. A driver's card is a plus, but if you don't have one yet, you are willing to follow the taxi training. You can also provide a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
