What will you do?

As a healthcare transport driver at Transdev/Connexxion in Assendelft and its surroundings, you are much more than just a driver. You are the familiar face that greets your passengers kindly every day. To them, you are not just a driver, but someone who ensures a safe and pleasant journey. With a smile, a chat, and your patient attitude, you make their journey just a little bit more pleasant.

Your passengers are adults with a disability who cannot travel independently. You are their driver and companion, so they can reach their destination without worries. This also means that you help your passengers with getting in and out if necessary. In the morning, you pick them up between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM and take them to their day care or care institution. In the afternoon between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you take them safely home. In between, you can enjoy free time. With your caring and understanding approach, you create a relaxed and trusting atmosphere on the bus.

What we offer you:

You have a great sense of responsibility and know how to deal with this group of passengers. Patience, kindness, and care are self-evident for you. You enjoy working with people and contribute to their mobility and independence.

You live in the Assendelft area and have a B driving license with at least 1.5 years of driving experience. A driver's card is a plus, but if you don't have one yet, you are willing to complete the taxi training. You can also provide a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

Do you already have a taxi pass? Then you will receive a €1,000 welcome bonus.

What do you bring?

As a driver at Transdev/Connexxion, you carry a lot of responsibility, with passengers relying on you for a safe journey to their destination. In addition, we offer:

• Prospect of a permanent contract with good performance;
• A gross hourly wage between €15.52 and €17.81;
• You work 15 to 20 hours per week, only on weekdays;
• Occasional rest: 23 vacation days;
• Always in May: 8% vacation pay;
• Sustainable travel: a (electric) bicycle through Lease a Bike;
• We take care of now and later: pension according to the Transport Pension Fund;
• A vehicle at the door.
