What will you do?

As a school transport driver at Transdev/Connexxion in Gouda and surroundings, you are much more than just a driver. You are the trusted face that greets the children happily every day with a high five. For them, you are not just a driver, but someone who ensures a pleasant and safe ride. A smile, a chat, a joke now and then – you make their journey to school just a little bit more fun.

These children cannot travel independently due to illness, a disability, or behavioral problems. You are their driver and companion, so they can go to school or day care. In the morning, you pick them up between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM, so they are in class on time, and in the afternoon – when school is over – you bring them home safely. In the meantime, you can enjoy your free time. With your patience and positive energy, you make every ride a relaxed moment and leave parents with a sense of security.

What we offer you:

You have a great sense of responsibility and know how to interact with children. Patience, kindness, and caring are self-evident to you. You understand how important it is for parents to be able to entrust their children to you with peace of mind.

You live in the vicinity of Gouda and have a B driver's license with at least 1.5 years of driving experience. Additionally, you have a B1 level of Dutch proficiency. A valid driver's card is a plus, but not a requirement, as you can follow the training with us. You can also provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).

Do you already have a taxi pass? Then you will receive a €1,000 welcome bonus.

Safe and reliable school transport is not a given – you play an important role in it. You ensure a pleasant and carefree ride every day, so children arrive at school relaxed. At Transdev, we do everything we can to help you with this, with good planning, clear communication, and a pleasant working atmosphere. This way, you can focus on what really matters: the children.

What do you bring?

As a driver at Transdev/Connexxion, you carry a lot of responsibility, as parents trust you to transport their child safely. Additionally, we offer:

• Prospect of a permanent contract upon good performance;
• A gross hourly wage between €15.52 and €17.81;
• You work 10 to 15 hours per week, only on school days;
• All school holidays off;
• Always in May: 8% holiday pay;
• Sustainable travel: an (electric) bicycle through Lease a Bike;
• We provide for now and later: pension according to the Transport Pension Fund;
• A vehicle at your door, with which you pick up and drop off the children.
