Job Description – Design Release Engineer (DRE) Chassis Location: Remote Experience: 5 years Industry: Automotive / OEM / Tier 1 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer (DRE) – Chassis to support the design, development, validation, and release of chassis systems and components. This role will work cross-functionally with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to ensure designs meet performance, cost, quality, and timing targets throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design strategies for chassis systems and components. • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and release notes. • Work closely with suppliers to ensure designs meet performance, cost, quality, and timing targets. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop and implement production processes that meet quality and timing targets. • Provide technical support to internal engineering teams and suppliers during the development and validation phases. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. • 5 years of experience as a Design Release Engineer (DRE) – Chassis or similar role. • Strong understanding of chassis systems and components, including design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
