Chassis Development Engineer

DESCRIPTION
  • Support the department with planning, monitoring, and reviewing technical documentation for chassis components.
  • Collect and prepare vehicles according to customer-requested tests, including documentation control and preparation.
  • Assist in gathering all necessary documents for project launches.
  • Support the department with planning, preparation, and monitoring of chassis component release tests.
  • Install and instrument tests according to the requested measurements (temperature sensors, microphones, displacement sensors, etc.) and ensure connection to the vehicle BUS (CAN, LIN, CAN FD).
  • Record CAN and Ethernet traces using CANoe (connecting CAN to the vehicle and obtaining data).
  • Manage the ODIS system for retrieving electrical protocols, flashing, and releasing control units.
  • Perform evaluations and failure analysis of components.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electric, Electronic, Mechatronic or Systems Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience in the automotive industry
  • 1+ years of experience with electrical/electronical Systems
  • Strong knowledge of CAN, CANoe, ODIS, CAN DoIP, CAN FD
  • Experience with updated software for electronical auto parts
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and reworking in cars
  • Good understanding of processes and procedures
  • Driving License (is a must)
  • Fluent English (Conversational level)
