As a Chartered Accountant – General Ledger & Operations, you will play a critical role in managing end-to-end GL accounting and financial operations within a structured, global environment. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting while working closely with cross-functional and international stakeholders. The position offers exposure to advanced ERP systems, compliance frameworks, and UK-shift operations, making it ideal for professionals seeking depth in accounting operations and strategic finance.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records in line with accounting standards
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Manage balance sheet and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity
  • Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and variance analysis
  • Support banking, cash management, and intercompany accounting activities
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation and audit queries
  • Provide compliance and audit support, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Use ERP and financial systems (Oracle Fusion and related tools) for reporting and consolidation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to resolve issues and improve processes

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4–9 years of relevant experience in GL accounting and operations
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and financial systems such as Oracle Fusion and related consolidation or reconciliation tools
  • Exposure to compliance, audit support, and regulated environments, preferably within banking or financial services
  • Ability to work effectively in a UK shift and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, suggest improvements, and support process excellence
