Senior Project Manager in Geotechnique

Main Responsibilities

Within multidisciplinary Environment & Earth Sciences teams, participate in projects for building design, rehabilitation, or construction, roads, bridges, hydraulic structures, excavation works, slope stability, soil dynamics, temporary and permanent supports, deep and conventional foundations, for private or public clients, institutions, or industries, primarily in Quebec but also elsewhere in Canada.

Your contribution to the team:

• Realize and supervise the realization of complete geotechnical studies from planning to report writing, including drilling, coring, laboratory testing, and recommendations for design
• Conduct inspections, safety evaluations, and bring dams in concrete and earth up to standards
• Participate in tunnel studies and rock face stability assessments, including discontinuity surveys and potential slide plans using a drone
• Coordinate studies, engineering, fieldwork, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Prepare bid documents to respond to interdepartmental or public service offers
• Supported by experienced draftsmen, prepare plans and estimates for earthworks, slope stabilization, riverbank protection, etc.
• Supervise, guide, train, and mentor CPI or interns
• Participate in team development
