Onboarding Officer (6-month Fixed-term Contract)

We are looking for an Onboarding Officer to join our Rider Operations team, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Senior Rider Onboarding Associate, you will contribute to the recruitment and integration of our rider partners by leading in-person onboarding sessions and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience.

What you will do daily

On the ground, you will be a key point of contact for future riders and will play an essential role in developing our fleet. You will also participate in the continuous improvement of our operations by sharing field feedback with internal teams.

This position is primarily mobile and requires frequent travel throughout France.

Your missions:

On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:

- Leading in-person integration sessions for new rider partners.

- Welcoming, informing, and supporting candidates throughout their onboarding journey.

- Verifying the information and documents required for their integration.

- Representing Deliveroo professionally in every interaction with candidates.

- Working in various Rider Onboarding Hubs as well as in the field according to operational needs.

- Participating in the development of the rider fleet in areas with the greatest needs.

- Identifying difficulties encountered by candidates or operational teams and reporting them to the Senior Rider Onboarding Associate.

- Applying onboarding processes and contributing to their improvement through your feedback and experience.

- Collaborating with Rider Support, Supply, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth experience for future riders.

- Assisting the Senior Rider Onboarding Associate in deploying projects related to onboarding and operational improvement.

What you need to succeed

- You have previous experience in customer relations, operations, recruitment, event management, or in a dynamic environment (startup, tech company, service platform, logistics, etc.).

- You enjoy human interaction and know how to put your contacts at ease.

- You are organized, rigorous, and enjoy field work.

- You demonstrate autonomy while also appreciating teamwork.

- You are able to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving environment.

- You are comfortable with collaborative tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, or Salesforce (knowledge of Looker is a plus).

- Proficiency in French is essential. Knowledge of another language, particularly English, Arabic, or Hindi/Urdu, is an asset.

- You hold a valid driver's license (Permis B) and are available for frequent travel.
