Senior IT Project Manager

Job description

Solution SFT seeks a senior IT project manager in this position you will intervene in the context of a client project that falls within the public sector in the city of Quebec.

Role :

Responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and controlling global projects.

Mobilize resources, manage risks and change requests.

Expected deliverables :

Detailed planning (WBS, schedule, budget).

Risk register, deliverables, approvals, change requests.

Progress reports, status reports, committee reports.

Mitigation plan, project dashboard.

Required degree :

University degree in computer science, project management or relevant field.

Experience :

Minimum 10 years of experience in project management.

Minimum 5 years of experience specific to IT project management in a government or equivalent context.

Significant experience in agile and waterfall (traditional) modes.

Proven leadership skills to mobilize multidisciplinary teams.

Expertise :

PMBOK methodology (PMI), disciplined Agile.

Tools : JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Tempo Timesheet.

Able to manage project portfolio, interdependencies, risks, and challenges.
