Job description
Technical Engineering Support (TES) is an engineering company founded over 30 years ago, specializing in testing coordination and industrial commissioning. TES also supports its clients in participating in studies and coordinating the assembly of industrial equipment.
As part of our activities, we have a position to fill as a Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Business Manager (f/m) within a modernization project for Thermal, Hydraulic, Biomass Power Plants…
A significant portion of this work concerns Civil Engineering, concrete slabs, floor surfaces, building structures and frameworks, roofing, and building renovations. The Thermal Power Plant Modernization Program is responsible for implementing these works from design to execution.
The Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Business Manager (f/m) will support project management to ensure the quality, safety, and proper execution of works to be carried out by selected companies.
Main responsibilities:
Verify the monitoring of schedules and deliverables;
Control the quality of the work performed;
Resolve notification points as needed;
Ensure coordination between different trades;
Organize and lead site or coordination meetings as needed and write the minutes;
Monitor the application of safety and environmental rules, and site upkeep until their finalization;
Produce regular reporting to the Client (MOA), at a minimum through weekly activity reports;
Immediately alert the Client (MOA) in case of technical, safety, or environmental incidents;
Participate in the technical acceptance of works;
Manage their logistics (transport, accommodation, meals) on site.
Engineer (Master's degree equivalent), Business Manager (Bachelor's degree equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure with experience in the industrial sector.
The candidate must have skills in managing services with multiple trades, in order to identify potential interfaces in study documents between contract holders for "studies" where applicable.
