A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

As a project manager, you play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, according to our quality standards. For the property owner, expert, and insurance company, you are the face of our company. You establish trust by consulting with clients on projects, responding to their questions, and ensuring follow-up for complete satisfaction. You prepare precise quotes, calculate work costs, and make estimates.

Throughout each project you manage, you control progress and quality to ensure that emergency and reconstruction deadlines are respected and conform to policy and guidelines. You manage all types of restoration requests, including water damage and fire damage, for both residential and commercial properties. If necessary, you resolve disputes and complaints with good humor and professionalism. Solid relationships established with property owners, experts, real estate managers, and other key stakeholders help generate new prospects. Your knowledge of the restoration and construction sectors, estimating skills, and sales sense enable you to excel in this project management role.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the restoration/renovation sector
• Knowledge of construction and building codes
• Experience with Xactimate
• Experience in planning and tracking budgets
• Valid driver's license
• Clean criminal record
• Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

The professional activities may include physical work, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing respirators, and working in restricted spaces (attics, basements, and sanitary voids).
