Job Description Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright will focus on maintaining equipment and limiting downtime. With a focus on safety, the Millwright will maintain the facility’s systems and equipment by providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair/rebuilding/replacing of equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES • As part of the maintenance team, focus on minimizing downtime and the execution of a preventative maintenance program, equipment troubleshooting and hands-on corrective actions to ensure optimal equipment performance. • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure effective communication and coordination. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the facility’s systems and equipment to ensure effective maintenance and repair. • Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance personnel as required. • Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency support as needed. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, equipment condition, and any issues or concerns. • Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry developments and best practices. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
