CEO (m/w/d) Operative and Strategic Development

Two established mid-sized software companies with their own teams stand before the next development phase and are looking for a entrepreneurially thinking CEO to lead both companies.

Both organizations have long-standing market presence and specialized software solutions in the educational field. The goal of this role is to develop structures, streamline processes, and strategically bring both companies closer together.

This role requires a personality that takes responsibility, actively shapes changes, and develops organizations strategically and operationally.

Aufgaben

• Strategic development of both companies as well as definition of common goals and priorities
• Analyze existing organizational structures and develop processes and responsibilities
• Reduction of complexity and building efficient workflows within the organizations
• Development of the product strategy and alignment of roadmaps across both companies
• Strengthening of sales activities as well as active participation in central customer projects
• Fostering an agile work environment and supporting transformation processes
• Führung und Weiterentwicklung der Teams at both locations
• Long-term development of a common structure for both organizations
• Regular presence at the main location in the initial phase (3-4 days per week) to actively accompany transformation processes – with increasing stability, higher remote flexibility will be possible

Qualifikation

• Leadership experience in a software company or comparable responsibility at the executive level
• Experience in leading organizations through change phases and developing structures
• Agile work environment as well as the ability to actively implement transformation and pragmatically set up processes
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a clear hands-on mentality
• Strong process thinking and solid business understanding
• High affinity for technology and interest in integrating new technologies into organizations
• Pleasure in taking responsibility in smaller organizations with short decision-making paths
• Fluent German and English skills
• Travel readiness within Germany
