Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: We want to specifically harness the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life - for all people.

We achieved a first major milestone on this path as early as 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to significantly improve the lives of millions of patients with irritable bowel syndrome worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most extensively researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its effectiveness and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and mental disorders. In short: we are investigating how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

We reach our customers through various channels: through direct communication with doctors and pharmacists, as well as print, TV, and digital marketing. Your Mission With Us

Do you want to scale one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare companies to billions in revenue? Then you are in the right place with us! We are looking for a CEO (m/f/d) to be responsible for the entire global P&L, starting immediately. Drive Kijimea's growth trajectory forward with us – already one of the leading probiotic brands worldwide today.

Your Tasks

• You will be responsible for the entire global P&L (three-digit million revenue, high double-digit million marketing budget, >50% CAGR).

• Together with the Group CEO, you will develop the further growth strategy and consistently implement it with the operational teams.

• You will vigorously drive our internationalization into European and global markets.

• In particular, you will be responsible for Commercial & Marketing activities – from Brand & Product Teams, through Online Marketing, (own) E-commerce, to the field sales force for doctors and pharmacists.

• You will quickly grasp complex commercial issues and be able to build, further develop, and optimize them both conceptually-strategically and operationally in detail.

• You will scale the organization exponentially without losing the agility of a start-up.

• You can inspire large teams and unite them towards a common goal. With your energy, you will drive teams to peak performance daily.

• You will initiate, steer, and manage cross-functional strategic topics (e.g., cost structure optimizations, adjustments to changing regulatory frameworks, etc.).

• You will manage all support functions (e.g., Legal, QA/RA) and be able to provide insights even at a detailed level.

Your Profile

• You have an outstanding completed degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, STEM, or a comparable qualification.

• You have at least 10+ years of professional experience in a comparably dynamic environment, ideally from a top-tier strategy consultancy, a private equity firm, or a scale-up.

• You are an entrepreneurially minded individual with strong drive and a distinct hands-on mentality.

• You possess strong strategic and analytical competence combined with a results-oriented approach and a strong attention to detail.

• You have a clear and structured communication style and fluent German and English language skills (at least C1 level).
