CEO & Managing Director with Participation Opportunity at a Private Equity-Financed System Supplier in the Construction Industry

As CEO & Managing Director (m/w/d), you will take on the central role in a company specializing in building supply/Kältetechnik (€~19 Mio. turnover, ~100 employees). In this position, you will enjoy great freedom to shape together with a strong second level consisting of three central leadership positions (Operations, Sales, Finance) strategy, processes, teams, and structures. Your focus lies on steering the company and necessary change processes in an overarching responsibility with leadership responsibility for all functional areas of the company.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial thinking, structured leadership personality who supports and develops the second level and actively drives change – but also pragmatic and hands-on. The CEO should be sales-oriented and actively drive growth over the next few years.

Tasks

• As CEO, you will form the framework for all areas and lead the central department heads of the second level (Operations, Sales, Finance)
• Futuristic development of business fields as well as elaboration and implementation of strategic measures
• Creation and monitoring of budgets in coordination with the shareholders
• You ensure that the company profitably grows and optimally prepares for the future
• Leadership role in strategic planning and implementation of operational business goals
• Federating responsibility in shareholder communication

Qualification

• You are a leadership- and change-tested personality with experience in growth phases, but also strong cost discipline
• You bring industry experience or consulting experience from the production sector in single-piece manufacturing or machine building, ideally in the field of Kältetechnik/Bauindustrie
• Comprehensive experience in business management of a producing mid-sized company or in a leading position in larger producing organizations
• A strong personality, able to form opinions and defend them
• Very comprehensive project management skills with the focus on setting priorities and achieving results, possibly from contact points with restructuring or comparable transformations
• Analytical thinking ability as well as excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in communication with Private Equity is advantageous
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
