About the Role
As a Centre Director, you will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education in a warm and engaging environment. Your role will focus on ensuring the centre operates smoothly, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting the growth and development of both the children and your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, nurturing environment;
- Lead and mentor a team of educators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
- Manage enrolments, occupancy rates, budgets, and family relationships;
- Engage with the local community to build the centre’s reputation.
- You’re authentic, passionate about working with children, and a natural communicator.
- You’re driven and supportive of others’ success.
- You are well-connected and community-minded.
- You are organised with a great eye for detail.
- You are a strong leader, articulate, commercial and professional.
- Hold a completed Diploma and/or (working towards) Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA Approved)
- Prior leadership experience working in a long day care.
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
- Current First Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Current Working with Children's Check.
