Centre Director, Centre of Excellence, Airport Innovation (Contract)

About The Role The Centre Director, Centre of Excellence (CoE), Airport Innovation reports directly to the Governing Board and translates the Board’s strategic direction into an operational reality through its performance, direction and delivery of the CoE’s mandate across its three roles: Research and Innovation, Innovation Talent Developments, and Manager of Innovation Assets. What You Will Do Strategic Leadership & Governance Translate the Governing Board’s vision and strategic direction into a clear and actionable plan for the Centre, ensuring alignment with the Board’s goals and objectives. This includes developing and implementing strategies to drive innovation, talent development, and asset management, as well as providing guidance and oversight to ensure effective delivery of the CoE’s mandate. Innovation Talent Developments Identify and develop innovative talent pipelines through partnerships with universities, research institutions, and industry partners, ensuring a diverse range of skills and expertise are available to support the Centre’s goals. Manager of Innovation Assets Oversee the development and management of innovation assets, including intellectual property, patents, and other intangible assets, to ensure their effective utilization and protection.
