Cegeka - Senior Frontend Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Front-end Developer with a strong focus on design systems.





Due to long-term absence of a team member and internal shift, there has been structural capacity loss. Additionally, the team has built up a backlog due to an additional long-term project.


This means that there is not enough time left for crucial front-end topics such as architecture and further development of the design system.


Recently, a full redesign was carried out for all applications, which requires extra specialized front-end expertise.








The role





We are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer who focuses fully on front-end development (no Full-Stack).


You will join the Design System team, a specialized front-end team that watches over visual consistency, quality, and reusability.





Practically:






Collaboration with: 4 Developers, 1 Product Owner, and 1 Team Lead





Office days: Tuesday and Thursday







Must-haves






At least 5 years of experience as a Front-end Developer





Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript





In-depth experience with Angular (version 21 or recent versions)





Excellent knowledge of CSS and styling principles





Affinity with UI/UX and a sense of visual consistency





Understanding of reactive programming and underlying concepts







Nice-to-haves






Experience with GitHub





Knowledge of CI/CD





Experience with Test-Driven Development





Basic knowledge of Accessibility (concepts and attention points)





Understanding of internationalization (multilingual applications)





Experience with responsive design (mobile-first)
