🥩🌱 Looking for an exciting professional challenge? We have a position at the crossroads of charcuterie and veggie products and are looking for a passionate individual to take on this new challenge!

Reporting to Charline, R&D Director, as the R&D Manager Charcuterie & Veggie, your role will be to lead this R&D department and support the teams, present at 4 production sites, to ensure the realization of our innovation pipeline in these two product universes.

🔬 Your daily tasks

• Manage and support the Charcuterie & Veggie R&D team to ensure the completion of the entire project pipeline, while respecting quality, cost, and deadline objectives, within the framework of our processes: Applied Research, Innovation, Development, and Optimization

• Lead strategic innovation and applied research projects, whether they concern traditional charcuterie or the development of new alternatives based on plant proteins, ensuring their smooth progress and reporting to Management

• Monitor, validate, and propose new products, as well as their evolution and optimization

• Structure and lead active monitoring of processes, ingredients, and competition, particularly around plant proteins and new processing technologies, in conjunction with various stakeholders

• Be responsible for compliance with our quality, safety, nutritional, and CSR policies across the entire Charcuterie & Veggie scope

• Collaborate closely with R&D support departments (Research, Packaging, Data, Microbiology...) as well as with all Fleury Michon teams: Marketing, Industrial, PMO, Quality, Purchasing...

👤 Your profile

With a Bac +4/5 degree, you have at least 7 years of experience, including 3 to 5 years in R&D, ideally in the charcuterie, meat, or plant-based alternatives sector.

Comfortable with project management and activity steering, you have already had the opportunity to support and grow a team.

Curious, committed, and proactive, you want to take on an unprecedented challenge: making the expertise of charcuterie dialogue with the opportunities offered by plant-based options, to imagine the products of tomorrow.
