Based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Jacquemus is an independent fashion house with over 300 employees. Renowned for its strong digital presence and international expansion, the brand has developed innovative retail experiences worldwide before opening its first permanent flagship at 58 Avenue Montaigne in Paris in 2022. Since then, boutiques have opened in New York (SoHo) and London (New Bond Street).

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Fabrics, the Senior Textile Sourcing and Development Manager is responsible for sourcing and developing textile materials for JACQUEMUS Men's and Women's ready-to-wear collections.

Thanks to their textile expertise, product sensitivity, and market knowledge, they identify materials suited to the House's creative vision and oversee their development until they are handed over to the Purchasing teams.

YOUR MISSIONS

1. Textile Sourcing

• Research and source materials in line with collection needs.
• Regularly present selections to the Head of Fabrics and Design teams.
• Prepare and lead supplier meetings.
• Participate in textile trade shows in Paris and Milan.
• Manage and organize the fabric library.

2. Textile Development

• Initiate and monitor textile developments: lab dips, prints, jacquards, and specific developments.
• Ensure follow-up with suppliers and textile factory technicians.
• Guarantee adherence to development deadlines and priorities.
• Organize the handover of developments to the Fabric Purchasing Officer.
• Ensure archiving and traceability of developments.

3. Coordination and Management

• Develop and track the sourcing and development plan with the teams.
• Verify fabric racks and boards with the Fabric Purchasing Officer.
• Hold a weekly meeting with the Design teams and Product Managers.
• Contribute to the implementation of the material collection plan and monitor its scope.
• Monitor the textile development budget.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 4 years of experience in textile sourcing and development.
• Expertise in materials and good knowledge of textile suppliers and technicians.
• Strong product sensitivity and marked interest in the textile universe.
• Curiosity, proactivity, and sense of priorities.
• Proficiency in English; Italian is a plus.
