CDI - BARISTA - Flagship Le Marais

AMI is looking for a new BARISTA ambassador to join our Flagship in Le Marais.

Under the responsibility of the Store Manager, you will contribute to offering a welcoming and high-quality experience to our customers through the preparation and service of drinks, while ensuring the quality and proper functioning of the boutique's Café space.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

Customer Reception and Relations

• Welcome each customer, advise on the menu, create an experience worthy of the Maison's image

• Ensure service flow during busy periods

• Liaise with the boutique teams: the Café and Retail share the same space and clientele

Drink Preparation

• Espresso extraction, milk-based drinks, and latte art.

• Creation of espresso and filter recipes for each new coffee.

• Daily grinder and machine adjustments, consistency control throughout the service

• Tasting and recipe adjustments, participation in menu evolution

Stock and Purchase Management

• Monitoring stock levels (coffee, milk, consumables, packaging)

• Placing supplier orders and direct communication with them (roaster, wholesalers, consumables)

• Receiving and checking deliveries, managing expiry dates, minimizing waste

• Regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies

Equipment Management

• Daily and weekly cleaning of machines, grinder, and the entire workstation

• Planning and monitoring preventive maintenance, managing relationships with technicians

• Detecting and reporting malfunctions, managing corrective interventions

• Compliance with and adherence to hygiene rules applicable to the role

Supervision

• Supervise and train the second barista: technical skills, service standards, skill development

• Organize the pair's schedules and task allocation

• Participate in future recruitment: defining needs, interviews, onboarding new arrivals

• Proven experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop (minimum 2 to 3 years)

  - Technical mastery: adjustments, extraction, latte art

  - Demonstrated autonomy in stock management and supplier relations

  - Comfortable with routine equipment maintenance

  - Knowledge of the specialty coffee industry (roasters, sourcing, trends)

• You are curious and eager to invest yourself in a brand new project.

• You are smiling, dynamic, involved, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

• You have a highly developed sense of customer service and are dedicated to satisfying customer needs.

• You have a strong sensibility for Fashion and the brand's universe

• Proficiency in English is essential.

• Start date: November 15th.
