As a continuation, Sézane was born in 2013: the first French fashion brand created online. Then came to enrich this universe: Octobre Éditions for men, Les Composantes, dedicated this time to the art of living, and Petit Sézane for children.

Everything was built like moving forward in life: by impulses, by spontaneous gestures with this way of learning by doing. A different relationship with detail, service, and connection. A different way of dressing reality, first online, then through our Appartements.

We are looking for the talents of a Retail Merchandiser Europe on a fixed-term contract starting now, for a minimum duration of 6 months (M/F) to join our teams. This position is based in Paris (75).

Integrated into the Retail division, reporting to the Head of Retail Merchandising, your main missions will be as follows:

• Collaborate in the creation of the assortment per store at the start of the season (permanent and seasonal collection) and then in its weekly updating for each collection launch, in conjunction with the online commercial calendar (adaptation to the location, clientele, seasonality, feedback from local teams, etc.);
• Define the target placement levels for new arrivals by category and store;
• Carry out ad-hoc analyses on offer performance to implement concrete short- or medium-term action plans;
• Interact with points of sale on a weekly basis for assortment adjustment requests (addition requests, returns...);
• Coordinate product proposals, sample shipments, and caption validation for our Department Store and Press partners;
• Build lists and coordinate, in close collaboration with the retail supply chain team, inter-season and end-of-season returns. Manage stock needs adjustments;
• Participate in point-of-sale visits (floor and stock) to implement action plans aimed at optimizing customer satisfaction;
• Provide support for the opening of new permanent stores and pop-ups.

Requirements

• Graduated from a fashion school or business school with a specialization in fashion, or its university equivalent;
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent position within a ready-to-wear brand;
• You have a strong product sensibility combined with a pragmatic business eye;
• You are curious, proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit;
• You master Excel and have a strong taste for data analysis;
• You are very organized and managing priorities holds no secrets for you!
• Fluent English is essential.
