Jacquemus was founded by Simon Porte Jacquemus in 2009 in Paris, France.
Dedicated to the memory of the creator's mother, the brand draws inspiration from a passion for culture. The women's and men's collections reference the French art of living and universal gestures of beauty, incorporating influences ranging from art photography to decorative arts, as well as cinema, painting, and sculpture.
Over the years, Jacquemus has staged its fashion shows in unique and unexpected locations, including a Parisian swimming pool, the Picasso Museum, a lavender field in Provence, a wheat field on the outskirts of Paris, a salt marsh in the Camargue, and a beach in Hawaii. More recently, the brand has taken over venues such as the Château de Versailles canal (Le Chouchou), the Maeght Foundation (Les Sculptures), Casa Malaparte (La Casa), and Auguste Perret's Parisian apartment (La Croisière).
Based in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Jacquemus is an independent fashion house with over 300 employees. Since then, boutiques have opened in New York (SoHo) and London (New Bond Street).
ROLE
This temporary position is to be filled as soon as possible.
Support the Architecture/Store Planning team in the development, management, monitoring and coordination of architectural projects for the opening/renovation of our boutiques respecting the brief, budget and management of schedules.
MISSIONS
Design :
- Prepare and collect the information necessary for the implementation of projects, debrief and coordination through various departments
- Prepare CAD drawings, 3D models and project presentations for design development
- Material research and sample-boards preparation
Planning control/coordination :
- Manage project coordination with internal and external parties
- Assist on Bid preparation and support on the result analysis and monitoring of project cost
- Review shop drawings and technical submissions from contractors and suppliers
- Monitor the progress of project & construction milestones and support in keeping the targets
General activities :
- Make and issue periodic reports on ongoing projects and related meetings
- Update the projects database and material library
- Research and certification/follow-up for suppliers and consultants
PROFILE
- Education: Degree in Architecture
- 3–6 years experience in Architecture (ideally in Luxury field) within a brand and/or architecture studio
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and project delivery processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different levels of advancement
- Skills & Expertise: Organised, team player, rigorous and detail oriented, flexible, agile
- Languages: English and French
- Good computer skills including: AutoCAD, SketchUp (V-Ray is a plus), Photoshop, Adobe Suite and Excel
