CCTV Operator (Stormwater) - Auckland

Job description

About the job:
We are looking for an experienced CCTV Operator to join our team in Auckland!

As a CCTV operator, you will actively survey and carry out investigations of Stormwater drainage networks on a scheduled and reactive basis.

The role involves:

Carrying out CCTV operations and surveys using tractor and push cameras
Preparing, editing, and revising drainage inspection plans and maps
Accurately interpreting stormwater plans.
Assisting with clearing blockages across networks
Interpreting CCTV survey logs and extracting relevant information
Using CCTV technology to support fault-finding and problem-solving


What you’ll need:

Proven experience in CCTV activities and asset investigation
An understanding of the NZ Pipe Inspection Manual
Experience using surveying tools including tractor and push cameras
Sound knowledge of plant and equipment required for stormwater drainage activities
Traffic Controller Level 1 would be advantageous
A focus on quality assurance and health and safety
A full class 1 license is essential for this role!


All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
