Catering Manager

Maroma is looking for an experienced and passionate Catering Manager to join our esteemed team at one of our luxury properties. As the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, and managing all aspects of event execution.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and delivering tailored solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

This position will require excellent communication and organizational skills, as you will oversee large-scale events while ensuring attention to detail and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, coordinating logistics and execution for special events (weddings and groups), including menu selections and staffing.
• Developing and implementing catering service standards, ensuring exemplary guest experiences.
• Leading the catering team in all functions, providing mentorship, training, and support.
• Collaborating with sales and events teams to ensure seamless execution of events and client satisfaction.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, providing exceptional customer service.
• Conducting regular meetings with team members to discuss performance, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in catering management or a comparable role within a luxury hotel or catering company.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 7rooms software.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, and a passion for the culinary arts.
