Catering Assistant - Waitara

Casual role- $31.70 per hour + Superannuation + casual loadings
Not for profit employer so pay less tax!

As a member of the Catering team at McQuoin Park, Waitara, you will be preparing high quality food and providing a great dining service to our residents to ensure a high quality of life.
About the Role:
Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you’ll need
A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential
Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
Able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
NDIS and Police check clearance or willing to obtain
