Job description
- You are responsible for controlling the transferred product categories with sales and result accountability.
- The strategic development of the fresh produce range – e.g., in terms of brands, own brands, price entry, and premium range – is within your area of responsibility.
- You design and finalize the product range for seasonal highlights and ensure a targeted placement.
- Market observation and derivation of relevant measures lies within your area of responsibility, as well as product development in cooperation with our own brand department.
- You observe and analyze relevant market data (e.g., Nielsen, GfK) and derive concrete measures for optimizing the product range from them.
- The analysis of raw material market development and trend observation at home and abroad flows into your strategic decisions.
- You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating promotions.
- Leading negotiations with our suppliers regarding conditions and prices lies within your area of responsibility.
- Aligning with our trading companies and interfaces for product placement in our branches is also part of your tasks.
- As a Category Manager:in, you are responsible for optimizing customer satisfaction based on comprehensive market analyses.
