Just finished your Master's and want to kick-start your career in Picnic's Commercial team? Our 1-year non-rotation trainee program isn't a warm-up, it's your real launchpad. As a Junior Business Manager, you'll work at the heart of our app – diving deep into data, negotiating with suppliers, and shaping the assortment that brings a smile to our customers' faces. 🥑🥐🍎

What awaits you

  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of your category – supported by internal data, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Data-Driven Purchasing Decisions: Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and price data to select the best products and implement innovative assortment ideas.
  • Process Management: Handle operational and administrative tasks in daily business – for example, checking products and associated data sheets.
  • Supplier Relations: Prepare for meetings, accompany negotiations, and learn how to build successful partnerships.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate data, identify patterns, and derive concrete optimization measures from them.

What you bring

  • Completed or soon-to-be-completed Master's degree (M.Sc.), ideally in an economic or analytical field.
  • Initial practical experience in a commercial, analytical, or product-oriented role in the FMCG or retail environment – including internships and student jobs.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as strong analytical abilities and a good feel for complex interrelationships.
  • A strong ability for self-organization and independent work.
  • Very strong communication skills when interacting with colleagues, partners, and suppliers.
  • High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics independently.
  • Fluent German and English skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site at the office four to five days a week.
