Just finished your Master's and want to kick-start your career in Picnic's Commercial team? As a Junior Business Manager, you'll work at the heart of our app – diving deep into data, negotiating with suppliers, and shaping the assortment that brings a smile to our customers' faces. 🥑🥐🍎
What awaits you
- Market Understanding: You will develop a deep understanding of your category – supported by internal data, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Data-Driven Purchasing Decisions: Analyze customer behavior, sales trends, and price data to select the best products and implement innovative assortment ideas.
- Process Management: You will handle operational and administrative tasks in daily business – for example, checking products and associated data sheets.
- Supplier Relations: You will prepare for discussions, participate in negotiations, and learn how to build successful partnerships.
- Data Analysis: You will evaluate data, identify patterns, and derive concrete optimization measures from them.
What you bring
- Completed or soon-to-be-completed Master's degree (M.Sc.), ideally in an economic or analytical field
- Initial practical experience in a commercial, analytical, or product-oriented role in the FMCG or retail environment – including internships and student employment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as strong analytical abilities and a good feel for complex interrelationships
- Strong ability for self-organization and independent work
- Very strong communication skills in interacting with colleagues, partners, and suppliers
- High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge independently on new topics
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Willingness to work in the office four to five days a week
