Catalog Content Acquisition Technician

This position is responsible for the acquisition of catalog information from all O'Reilly Auto Parts Mexico suppliers to be loaded into the O'Reilly Auto Parts Mexico Electronic Product Catalog, and at the same time, for ensuring that all received data complies with Auto Care standards and the company's internal requirements.

Job Activities:

• Be the primary contact for suppliers in data acquisition.
• Collect, track, monitor, and follow up on supplier ACES and PIES data file deliveries, including product images.
• Support and train suppliers on best practices for delivering automotive parts market content.
• Provide feedback to suppliers on data file errors and find the best solution for the supplier to correct them according to Auto Care standards.
• Monitor and take action on supplier performance metrics.
• Seek opportunities for improvement in catalog content and provide feedback to corresponding catalog technicians.
• Guide and support other internal departments (Merchandising, Marketing, Pricing, and Operations) on how best to approach and implement company content-related strategies and projects.
• Interact with the Merchandising team to obtain approvals for changes in catalog databases (new brands, new part types, new part numbers).
• Conduct thorough analysis to identify part type assignment opportunities and provide feedback to the supplier.

Job Requirements:

· Education: High school diploma completed, Bachelor's degree / Engineering desired (Economic-administrative, automotive, industrial, mechanical).

· Experience: Not required, one year of customer service or supplier relations experience desired.

· Language: Advanced English. (essential)

Desired:

• Knowledge of automotive products and understanding of automotive theories and repair procedures.

• Extensive knowledge of auto parts cataloging or at least one year of counter experience.

• Understanding of Auto Care Association standards for content delivery.

• AMPSAS Certification.
