Casual School Driver

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a School Bus Driver to join our team based at Ferry Road in Christchurch, servicing the Diamond Harbour area (Banks Peninsula).

You will be working school bus hours before and after school. There is also the opportunity to pick up extra work doing charters and urban routes when required.

You will get school holidays off, except when required for ongoing training or development.

We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services, as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public.

You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

ABOUT YOU

You are a safe operator who takes pride in your appearance and communicates well. You understand you will be transporting children to and from school and have the patience to work with these members of our community.

YOUR SKILLS

• Full Class 1 NZ Licence (minimum)
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communicator
• Passenger endorsement (P endorsement) or willingness to obtain
