Casual Programme Assistant - Rodney region

About the Role:

• Supervise and assist children in programme activities.
• Ensure that the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic and safe for all children, staff, parents and visitors to the programme at all times.
• Assist the Programme Manager as required to run the daily format as scheduled as per duties outlined on the task list.
• Report back to the Programme Manager with any concerns regarding a child or behaviour issues etc.

Hours of work

Successful candidates will be required to work around the sites mentioned below. To ensure flexibility and ease of travel between locations, having access to a reliable vehicle is essential.

As a Casual Programme Assistant, you will be scheduled to work on a need-on-need basis. Only on Monday - Friday between the before & after-school schedule. Majority of your shift if you have been rostered to work is during the after-school shift.

• After school schedule: From/ Between 2.30pm - 6pm
• Before school schedule: 7am - 8.30am (only if required)
• Holiday programmes hours may be available

Location of work:

You will be rostered across various sites within the Rodney & North shore region. This flexibility will provide you with the opportunity to work more hours.
