Casual Programme Assistant - Franklin district

Job Description As a Casual Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings and/or afternoons unforgettable for children! You’ll be working mainly in the afternoons (2.30pm - 6pm depending on programme requirements) and school holiday programmes (between 7am - 6pm). This is a reliever role, so you’ll be rostered on an “as required” basis – perfect if you’re after flexibility while still making a big impact. Location: sites around Franklin but your default location would typically be at one of our main offices or programme venues. As a Casual Programme Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of programmes and activities for children aged 5-12 years old. This may include preparing materials, setting up equipment, supervising children during activities, and providing general support to programme staff. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as child development, education, and community engagement.
