Casual Merchandiser Talent Pool - Eastern Cape

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is continuously looking for Casual Merchandisers to build a talent pool for their various stores. The aim of a strategic talent pool is to have a readily available and pre-screened group of individuals with specific skills, qualifications, or attributes that make them suitable for future job opportunities within Dis-Chem Pharmacies. Purpose of the role: You will ensure that basic Dis-Chem merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Ensure that all shelves are neat and tidy, stocked and correctly faced. * Ensure that all Point of Sale (POS) material is correctly displayed. * Assist with stock takes and cycle counts. * Report on any discrepancies, damages and/or losses of stock. * Ensure that the store is kept clean and tidy at all times. * Adhere to all safety regulations. * Any other reasonable duties as requested. Qualifications: * Grade 12 / Matric. * Previous merchandising experience will be advantageous. Skills and Competencies: * Good communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Ability to work independently as well as in a team. * Attention to detail. * Ability to follow instructions. * Reliable and punctual.
