We are seeking passionate and reliable Casual Childcare Cooks to join our team! As a casual cook, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's health and wellbeing by preparing balanced meals that cater to dietary and cultural needs. Responsibilities: Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with centre's policies and procedures; Ensure all food is stored, handled, and served safely; Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment; Collaborate with educators to plan and prepare meals that meet children's individual needs; Develop and maintain relationships with centres to ensure a smooth service delivery. Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to lift 25kg and stand for long periods; Availability to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays; Current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one; Experience working in childcare or a related field an advantage.
