  • You analyze absence data, such as reporting frequency, average absence duration, and trends, and translate this into concrete action plans and clear management information for HR and management. Based on this, you set up preventive initiatives, such as training, PMO/PAGO (Preventive Medical Examinations/Preventive Health Checks), and vitality programs.

  • You utilize relevant financial arrangements, such as the no-risk policy, LKV (Wage Subsidy for Disabled Employees), and Ziektewet benefits, to reduce absence costs where possible. You check invoices from external parties.

  • You ensure watertight case file construction and for registration and communication regarding absence that comply with current privacy legislation.

This is you

  • You have HBO/WO work and intellectual capacity, preferably supplemented by a completed education as a Casemanager Regie op Verzuim (CROV) or Register Casemanager (RCM).

  • You have 4 to 7 years of experience as an internal or external case manager, for example within an environment with office and/or logistics/production.

  • You possess excellent and up-to-date knowledge of the Wet verbetering Poortwachter and the Ziektewet (Sickness Benefits Act).

  • You stand firm, coach managers in taking their own responsibility, and dare to ask probing questions when encountering resistance. You get all parties (managers, employees, occupational health service) moving towards the desired outcome.

  • You understand the organization and effortlessly adapt your communication style, whether you are strategically interacting with management or practically and accessibly on the shop floor.

  • You have a warm heart for the employee, but never lose sight of the organizational interest, the reintegration goals, and the legal frameworks. You strictly manage agreements and the employee's own responsibility.

  • You recognize patterns in absence data and translate them into concrete plans; in stalled cases, you think creatively to quickly resolve situations.

  • You always maintain an overview of absence administration, are strict with legal deadlines, and know exactly what is going on with every long-term sick employee.

  • You speak fluent Dutch, English is a plus.
