This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced carpenter to contribute to the company’s high standards in creating robust, finely-crafted structures and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study drawings and specifications for material and dimension requirements.
• Order and select timbers and other essential materials.
• Prepare layouts and accurate measurements for carpentry tasks.
• Cut, shape, and assemble parts to form wooden structures.
• Erect frameworks and roof structures with precision.
• Lay sub-flooring and floorboards for sturdy installations.
• Assemble and nail cut parts to form walls and other structures.
• Verify alignment and trueness of all constructed frameworks.
• Install exterior wall cladding, windows, and door frames.
• Shape and fit wood joints to meet structural needs.
• Construct and install concrete formwork when required.
• Repair and maintain existing fittings as needed.
• Work with laminates, metals, and other modern materials.
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines on site.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines.
• Supervise work for other junior team members

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

• Relevant trade qualification in carpentry or joinery.
• Minimum one year of Australian carpentry experience.
• Ability to study drawings and follow specifications accurately.
• Skilled in ordering and selecting quality materials.
• Proficiency in cutting, shaping, and joining timber parts.
• Experienced in assembling frameworks and installing fittings.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
