Carpenter

CWP Architectural imports and distributes exotic woods and wood veneers to carpenters, cabinetmakers, and specialized wood traders. We work closely with architects and artisans to ensure our unique selection of woods is featured in the most prestigious projects in North America. Our warehouse is managed by a small team of two people.

Job Description

• Place, measure, and inventory wood receptions.
• Identify wood species and defects upon receipt and preparation of orders.
• Prepare customer orders and ensure they remain stable during transport.
• Maintain inventory counts and ensure physical inventories match the computer system.
• Handle weights up to 50 kg and lift weights up to 25 kg.
• Plan transportation of orders to customers.
• Ensure efficient warehouse operations within deadlines and desired quality levels.
• Maintain good practices related to workplace health and safety.

Qualifications

• Secondary education diploma
• Experience in a wood yard or transformation plant (essential)
• Certification for operating an elevated platform truck (an asset)
• Computer system skills
• A focus on health and safety
• Understanding of English
• Resourcefulness
• Proactivity
