Esencon Pty Ltd is a trusted provider of expert formwork carpentry and construction services based in Wollert, Victoria. We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plan and specifications
• Determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Prepare detailed layouts and cutting lists to ensure precision and efficiency in the construction process
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Erect the framework, including panelized systems and roof framing, according to project specifications
• Construct concrete formwork to support and shape concrete structures, ensuring it meets design specifications
• Install fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, as well as door and window frames.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Skills, qualifications and experience required for this role

• Technical Carpentry Skills including tool handling, cutting and shaping wood, measuring, lay out and material knowledge
• Problem solving skills
• Workplace and safety skills
• Certificate III/IV in Carpentry
• At least 1 year of experience in similar role
